Morgan Park overlooks the harbor at Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street in Glen Cove. Bring chairs or blankets, and a picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Rain location: St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is a not-for-profit organization, administered by an all-volunteer team. No taxpayer money is used or requested for these concerts. Our seasons of professional, family-oriented performances are funded entirely through tax-deductible contributions.

North Shore Historic Museum to Host Opening Reception for New Exhibit on Morgan Park Summer Music Festival

Friday, June 28 at 7:00 pm. 
 

This summer marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of Morgan Park Summer Music Festival.  To mark this momentous occasion, the North Shore Historical Museum will host an exhibit during July and August highlighting the history of MPSMF.  
A kickoff reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, June 28 at 7:00 pm at the Museum, 140 Glen Street, Glen Cove. Come and share this special evening with us.

Honored for Her Decades of Volunteer Service
 

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival kicked off its 60th season of providing free concerts in the park with a working luncheon at the North Shore Historical Museum. More than 25 volunteers gathered to begin the annual fundraising appeal for the upcoming season and to reminisce about past performances.  At the luncheon, long-term volunteer Virginia O’Keefe was honored for her four decades of volunteer service to MPSMF.
 

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival Marches in Glen Cove's 2019 Memorial Day Parade

Volunteers from Morgan Park Summer Music Festival recently marched in Glen Cove's annual Memorial Day Parade.  Dressed in their green and white shirts and carrying signs announcing this year's concert schedule, board members were greeted by parade spectators who expressed their excitement for this year's concerts which begin on June 30 with Fun Opera in the Park and end on August 25 with a folk concert by A Band Called Honalee.

 

On July 4, MPSMF will also host a tribute to Billy Joel by Richie Cannata and the Lords of 52nd Street.  All concerts begin at 7:30 pm and are held in Morgan Park on Germain Street.   Rain location is St. Patrick's Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.
